Finding a dentist who is actually taking people on has become the hard part in Windsor-Essex. If you have been calling around, you can stop — we have room, and you do not need a referral.
Who We See
Everyone. Children through to seniors, whether you have been every six months for twenty years or have not been in a decade.
If it has been a long time, that is genuinely fine. It is more common than you think and nobody here is going to make you feel bad about it. We will look at where things stand, tell you honestly what needs doing, and sort it in an order that makes sense rather than handing you an intimidating list.
Your First Visit
Plan for about an hour. See what to expect on your first visit for the full walkthrough, but in short:
- A conversation first. Your medical history, any medications, what has been bothering you, and what you want out of your dental care.
- A full examination — teeth, gums, bite, and an oral cancer screening.
- X-rays where we need them to see what an examination cannot.
- A cleaning, if time and the state of your gums allow. Sometimes this needs its own appointment.
- A plan and an estimate — in writing, with costs, before you agree to anything.
What to Bring
- Photo ID
- Your insurance card, or your Sun Life card if you are covered under CDCP
- A list of any medications you take
- The name of your previous dentist, if you would like us to request your records
Insurance and Payment
We accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan, ODSP, Healthy Smiles Ontario for eligible children, and most private plans with direct billing where your insurer permits it.

If You Are Anxious About Coming In
A lot of people put off finding a new dentist because of a bad experience somewhere else. Tell us when you book and we will work at your pace. Sedation options are available if you want them.
Transferring From Another Practice
Let us know your previous dentist and we will request your records and X-rays. It saves retaking images and gives us your history. You do not need to have an awkward conversation with them first — the request goes through us.

Do I need a referral?
No. Book directly.
How soon can I get in?
For routine new patient exams, usually within a couple of weeks. If you are in pain, that is a different situation — see emergency dental care and contact us today.
Will you push treatment I do not need?
No. You get an honest assessment and a written plan, and you decide what happens and when. If something can reasonably wait, we will say so.
Can my whole family come to the same practice?
