What Invisalign Can Correct

How It Works
1. Consultation and scan
We examine your teeth and bite and take a digital scan. From that we produce a treatment plan showing how your teeth will move, and roughly how long it will take.
2. Your aligners arrive
Custom-made for you, in sequence. We fit the first set and check they seat properly.
3. Wear them
Aligners need to be in for 20 to 22 hours a day, out only for eating, drinking anything other than water, and brushing. This is the part that determines whether treatment works, and it is entirely on you.
4. Progress checks
Periodic short appointments to confirm teeth are tracking as planned and hand over the next sets.
5. Retainers
Teeth drift back if nothing holds them. Retainers are not optional and they are not temporary — expect to wear them at night indefinitely. Skipping this is the most common reason people end up needing orthodontic treatment twice.

The honest trade-off: aligners are more comfortable and far less visible, but they only work if you actually wear them. Braces work whether you are disciplined or not.
Invisalign for Teens
Aligners suit many teenagers, particularly those self-conscious about braces. The compliance question is real, though — treatment stalls if aligners spend the day in a school bag. Some teens are ideal candidates and some genuinely are not, and we will give you a straight assessment rather than the easy answer.
What It Costs
Invisalign is priced by case complexity — the number of aligners needed and the length of treatment. A short case correcting minor front-tooth crowding costs considerably less than a full-arch case running eighteen months. You get a firm quote at the consultation, after the scan.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does treatment take?
Simple cases can finish in six months. Most run twelve to eighteen. Complex cases go longer.
Does it hurt?
There is pressure and tenderness for a day or two after each new set. That is the teeth moving. It is milder than the tightening appointments with fixed braces.
Will it affect my speech?
Slightly, for the first few days. Almost everyone adjusts within a week.
Can I drink coffee with aligners in?
Water only. Hot drinks can warp the plastic, and anything coloured will stain it. Take them out, drink, brush, put them back.
What if I lose a set?
Contact us. Depending on where you are in the sequence, we will either move you to the next set early or order a replacement. Do not simply go without.
Can I whiten my teeth at the same time?
Whitening is normally done after treatment finishes, when the teeth are in their final positions.
