Walkerville is one of the few parts of Windsor where getting to a dental appointment on foot or by bike is a realistic plan rather than a novelty.
The neighbourhood grew up around the Hiram Walker distillery and it still reads that way. Teeth that are sound but dull respond to professional whitening, which is cheaper than anything permanent and changes nothing structurally. Veneers are genuinely the right treatment for some front teeth, and we will say so when they are.
What we will not do is prepare eight healthy front teeth because someone brought in a photograph. That is irreversible, and once enamel is gone those teeth need restoring for the rest of your life.

Not unless there is a reason. Age alone is not a reason. If a filling is sealing, the tooth around it is intact and X-rays are clean, replacing it removes more healthy tooth and starts a cycle you do not need.
My front tooth is chipped. Bonding or a veneer?
For a small chip, bonding almost always. It is one appointment, it costs less, and it does not commit the tooth to anything permanent. A veneer makes more sense when the whole face of the tooth is worn, discoloured through the enamel, or already heavily restored.
I want whitening before an event. How far ahead should I book?
Several weeks before, not the week of. Whitening works better on a mouth that has just been cleaned, sensitivity can take days to settle, and existing crowns or fillings will not change colour — which sometimes means a plan rather than one appointment.
Can I walk to an appointment and go straight back to work?
For a checkup or hygiene visit, yes. For a filling, expect the freezing to take a couple of hours to wear off — awkward before a lunch meeting, not a reason to take the day off.
